The 635 East Project is a $1.74 billion design-build roadway construction project by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to improve mobility, operations and safety along Interstate 635 (I-635) in Dallas County. The project spans 11 miles beginning just east of US 75 in North Dallas to I-30 in Mesquite. Construction began in the spring of 2020 and will last through late 2024.
Our portion of this project includes installation of drilled shafts for the bridge structures and retaining walls. We will install thousands of drilled shafts ranging from 18” to 120” in diameter, up to 100’ deep, approximately 140,000 total linear feet.
